Abdul Malik Mujahid is the visionary founder of Darussalam Publishers, established in 1986 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His mission: to raise the bar of Islamic publishing by offering books of authenticity, quality, and academic integrityfilling a gap he identified in earlier Islamic works.

From early on, Mujahid recognised that many Islamic publications lacked rigorous research, proper production standards, or truly global outreach. Determined to address this, he founded Darussalam as an institute for the printing and publication of Islamic research and education.

Under his leadership, Darussalam began publishing in multiple languages, and with a standard of production internationally comparable.

As founder and guiding force of Darussalam, he has championed the publishing of the Qur’an, Hadith, Seerah, Fiqh, biographies, Islamic history and much more across many languages.

He has personally authored several well-received works in Seerah (biography of the Prophet ﷺ) and other Islamic topics such as Golden Rays of Prophethood.

Under his vision, Darussalam grew into a global name: multiple branches, hundreds of languages, and distribution across continents.
